This was the last time i volunteered to mount some stuff to my wifes bike! At my Hornet it was a piece of cake to mount the turn indicator – however the MT09 is a way more difficult animal.
To replace the original lights i had to disassemble half the motorbike. I am happy that the engine could remain in the frame. In total it was necessary to remove 26 screws, before i could mount the new indicators. Despite of the fact that the holder for the indicators is not even fixed with a screw!
At least it was worth it – the new ones from “Highsider” are high quality and they look a lot better than the original crap.
