What a Weekend!
The guys at the “Rappodetalsperre” did some good stuff to turn the Harz into an attractive area. The Megazipline, a giant suspension bridge, and with 70m the certainly Germany largest swing as well as Wall-Running creating a really nice leisure park. On our way to Groß-Dölln we decided to stop there and try the Megazipline which will take over the lake. Connected to a steel wire and flying with 90km/h down to the valley does not get close to the feeling when you hit turns fast with the motorbike, but it was a nice experience.

After 5 long weeks my Hornet is back on track!
Big Hands for Rocco and @Luca Daverio who arranged the return shipment from Italy. Other than that special thanks to @Thomas Knaul who offered me the necessary parts.
And special thanks to @Coors-Zweiradtechnik. Even if vacation time was knocking on the door, Cathi did Overtime on a Saturday just to get this finished and allow me to go to the Track next week.

Italy - especially the south of Italy is awesome.
This tour is over - at least for my lovely Hornet. I crashed the bike with no reason and still don't know why.
The good news is: I am ok - thanks to the good protection. Bad news: i might have to kiss my bike good bye. I will know more by tomorrow morning...
Sightseeing in Hamburg due to the cancelled trip to Verona. But we won't give up!

When we came to Hamburg we first had some trouble to find the Train station, due to heavy roadworks in this area. After this there was a big delay to load the vehicles. Finally we got the information, that the person in charge to load the train is not showing up due to an accident). As a result of that: The Motorbikes are not allowed to get on the train! Because of that we will not go to Italy tonight! Tomorrow we will decide how to …
This morning summer startet with 78°F and now the preparations for our tour can start. Parts are ready – this morning i tested my camera on the RAM-Mount and must admit: I like it!
First i was convinced that the mounting is too big, however now i can say that the RAM mount is just stable and very mature. Wih the mounting the camera can be adjusted easily and now the lens is where i like to have it: on top of the dashboard!
Tonight i will get some new tires from Cathi and after this my Hornet is ready …

Terrible Touristic Airlines
After this short week i remeber why i do not like the touristic airplanes:
Somehow everything is more hectic, noisy and stressful compared to the regular flights. There are significantly more children on these airlines and we had the blessing of one strong smelling specimen sitting in front of us, which had to use all the available throw-up bags.
The Pilot as did the best job in finding every single pothole and he landed the plane not straight, but very hard on the runway. But anyway, we arrived and that all that matters.
